Call for Research Paper
To stimulate research on the themes we are happy to announce call for paper for the Seminar in the form of a research paper presentation competition for faculty and students in separate categories.
Sub Themes:
1. Globalization of the indian economy producing a new class of Indian MNC's 2. Technology & Financial service Solutions 3. Private equity,Real Estate and insurance 4. Emerging opportunities & Challenges in Finance 5. Capital markets& Derivatives
Faculty Research Paper Competetion
Papers will be evaluated by a review committee for acceptance and selected papers will be published in the Seminar
Proceedings to be released during the course of the Seminar. Based on the evaluation of the review committee and the
presentations, three prizes will be awarded to research paper contributors.
1st Prize Rs. 10,000/- 2nd Prize Rs. 6000/- 3rd Prize Rs. 4000/-
All participants will be awarded a certificate for contributing the paper.
Papers are invited on the main Seminar theme i.e. "THRIVING IN TODAY'S ECONOMY INDIAN FINANCIAL SECTOR" or on the technical
session themes or on following sub-themes of the Seminar.
Guidelines for Submission of Full Length Paper
1. The papers will have to be original and being presented for the first time.
2. The papers should be neatly typed and should not exceed 6000 words.
3. Use "Times New Roman" 12 size fonts with 1.5 line spacing, on A-4 size paper.
4. Left Margin should be Kept 1.25" and right margin 1" All paper should be left alligned.
5. All graphs / tables should be from MS Office applications.
6. Key words should be mentioned in the abstract.
7. The papers will be evaluated by a committee of eminent specialists.
8. The Institute reserves the right to accept or reject any paper without assigning any reason.
9. Awards will be presented to the top three papers during the Seminar.
10. The paper presenters will be given 10-15 minutes for presentation if selected.
11. Kindly check the papers for spelling and grammatical errors before submitting.

Student Presentation Competetion
To encourage student community to research, write and present, a Presentation Competition for students is being organized in this Seminar for the students of management. Students may present papers either on the main theme or any of the technical session themes of the Seminar. The prizes for the winning teams will be in cash as follows :1st Prize Rs. 5000/- 2nd Prize Rs. 3000/- 3rd Prize Rs. 2000/-
Rules for Student Presentation Competetion
1.The presentation will be based on original research work of the students.
2. Each team will comprise of two students.
3. The presentation will be on PowerPoint for 10 minutes.
4. Interested students should send a summary of 250 words regarding presentation, stating topic, purpose and major ideas in presentation through e-mail. To finseminarits10@rediffmail.com by 28th December 2009
5. Only selected teams will be given an opportunity for presentation.
6. The selected teams will be intimate by mail.
7. Students will also be required to register for the participation like other Delegates.
Participation fees
Students Rs. 1000/-Academicians Rs. 1500/-
Industry Rs. 2000/-
Participation fee includes seminar kit, lunch and tea during seminar. Institute may extend help to arrange for lodging in near by hotels. Participation fee may please be sent through Demand Draft in favor of I.T.S Ghaziabad along with duly filled Registration Form by 15th January, 2010, at the below mentioned address. "Arrangement for accommodation can be made on the request of the participants for stay of two days and & one night during the seminar" Tariffs- for 2 days and 1 night is Rs. 2500/-.
